90s kids have Ghostface from Scream and The Fisherman (Benjamin Willis) from I Know What You Did Last Summer.

While 80s kids have Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Chucky and probably some others I'm missing.

I mean, are you just listing the ones that debuted in that decade?

I was born in the 80s, was a 90s kid, but grew up with all of those slashers.

And if you're going by the decade they debuted, Michael Myers was 1978

Almost all of the '80s slashers bled into the '90s.

I know from personally having nightmares as a kid because of Nightmare on Elm Street and Child's Play. Though the worst was Candy Man because my brother would lock me in a room with him and say Candy Man into a mirror repeatedly.

Meanwhile I've never watched any Scream or IKWYDLS movies.
