276 people were in this study.

Far shy from the 30 million confirmed infected, and really not enough of a sample size for anything.

I presume however glasses would shield the eyes, as long as one then doesnt touch the glasses and then their face.

This has kind of been common sense since day one.

It's been pointed out by multiple people that the main reason masks aren't 100% effective at protecting against infection is because you can be infected through other openings (ie, eyes and ears). So it seems relatively logical that giant glass shields in front of your eyes that minimize the ability of particulates to get into your juicy orbs could potentially help lower infection risk even more.

I wear sunglasses on top of my glasses (they sort of lock into place, isnt awkward at all and actually makes them sit better) so that means twice as much protection! Yay!

Pretty much. It's nice to have concrete evidence that that presumption is true (though n=276 is a bit on the small size, as was noted above), but this is a pretty intuitive, unsurprising finding.

Well duh. That's just like a video I saw today where it was like news that not talking and instead being quiet would reduce the spread

Stuff that should be common sense I think.
