Stay safe people and use common sense. Seriously ride it out till everyone gets vaccines. You night not even get any symptoms (or before it's too late) and spread it everywhere. You don't want like a family member or friend who has a more compromised immune system due to age or suffering from chronic disease, who can either dies from it or gets permanent damage from complications from blood clots.

of course the deaths-per-case is lower in the United States, the US has 7 million cases confirmed. That's literally almost the population of Sweden. the number of deaths-per-case will go down if you let everyone get sick.

My neighbor from the other building passed away during the first wave. 60 year old dad who was always friendly to me and asked me how school and work was after I come back home.

And now I have to protect my compromised parents at least, and my dad being diagnosed and currently fighting cancer with chemo since end of April

At least most people have control over what food they put in their bodies and an individual choice for most. With Covid19, it's a disease that's easily spread if people aren't careful. You can be careful as hell, but it takes one person to fuck it up and kill another because they didn't wear a mask or use common sense and not hang out with a bunch of people or wash their hands. Imagine your parents, grandparents, teachers, friends killed from this. Think of all the immuno comprised people that have diabetes, cancer, and other autoimmune diseases . And just because it has a low death rate for young people doesn't mean it can't fuck you up and not permanently damage your organs.

But let's not compare what kills people the most. Realize that Covid is a new disease introduced and it just already compounds to what we have to deal with already. Imagine getting the flu and covid at the same time. Better hope that flu shot covers the strain you may end up getting, and you better not get covid on top of that.

I'd sure as hell be pissed if my dad got covid. It would be a death sentence. He got diagnosed with brain cancer 6 months ago and is recovering from a high dose of chemo from last week, but now he is also dealing with an infection and has to take medication for it, on top of the medication he is already taking. He is wrecked right now

Particularly convincing most businesses to shut down and likely go bankrupt, and most Amercians to immediately stay indoors, wear mask, social distance, exhaust their savings, fall behind on bills and risk eviction.
