Been a long ass time but it was hit or miss for me.

Like the girl who took my v-card... took it the very first night we met in person, after I picked her up from the airport and took her to her apartment. On our first real date she spent the whole time freaking out about me paying for anything because her ex allegedly made her pay everything back when they broke up. So that was awkward. Plus all the other stuff she did after the fact.

Had another girl that was late to the date because she had been in a car accident just beforehand and she was paranoid cops were going to find her weed when they responded to the scene. So THAT was weird.

It feels like a fucking chore. You gotta calculate everything in advance and put on a fake as shit persona. You can literally see your own battery draining in real time. I mean I guess that's just every social thing, but yeah. Just bang friends or be explicit about wanting to hookup as opposed to date, if youre on like an app or something

It's usually a little awkward when you meet but if it's a good date it's exciting and fun to hang out with a hot girl who obviously likes you

If it's just a regular date it's like making small talk with a cashier

If it's a bad date I personally find it kind of funny but also want to leave asap

I don't know how I've managed to only have one bad date, but I'm glad I've only gone through that once though I've only been on like a dozen dates. During all of the other dates the girl did most of the talking and I was able to piggyback off that since I don't reveal my true power level from the start. Or I already knew them for a while and it was just usual convos but with the ultimate goal of smanging*

Online dating has been a nightmare for me where the online conversations dry up before anything happens, except for one instance that also led to a really nice couple of dates before corona hit
