Two or three turns in a row they would cast a spell with 2 land that cost above 3 mana The first time is because they had a creature that let them tap for land, but that cost 4, not 3. Then I killed that creature, and they cast a 3 card for 2. They just kept casting shit and I don't know how. It was the start of the game as well

Alright, thanks

I really fucking hate Mutate. I simply don't understand how it works. It's not like I've tried to make a deck with it, I'm sure I can figure it out, but it's legit the only MTG ability I don't/didn't understand right away.

mutate is basically "Add this ability to a non-human creature on the field"

What really irritates me with it is that I can't Murder it before it lands. The big creature still hits the table despite me killing the creature before they do thanks to how the stack works, or whatever you call it in MTG. I never did know, lol

that's just a rule they added to prevent blowouts, imagine a new player getting constantly 2 for 1'd, it's the same thing they did with bestow

I have noticed that it seems like a lot of players don't understand the value of playing Instants THEIR turn and on your opponent's end step. Of course there is always situations where the isn't the best options, but it often is. If you're going to play that one card that lets you gain life and draw a card at Instant speed, it's okay to do it on my turn. It's even better since you can leave options open or keep your opponent scared

Hell, I don't even think people understand that you can Block a huge creature with your 1/1, bounce the 1/1 back to your hand, and the creature is still blocked.
