I've tried before, and the gameplay and style is rock solid and 10/10, but there's one thing that's always bothered me. The visible area is tiny.

It's like the game is way too zoomed in, I can barely see anything more than a few yards up ahead. I have this problem with 2D sonic games too. It just feels so restrictive and makes me feel blind.

Has anyone else had these thoughts? I'm sure I'll get over it at some point, but it's a real roadblock to my enjoyment tbh.
