Also when it comes to no death runs if you haven't figured it out yet, if you die before hitting a checkpoint you don't have to exit out of the level for the gem, the game doesnt count deaths until after you break the checkpoint box.

I felt like Road to Nowhere and High Road are not as hard as people make them out to be. I've seen a lot of complaints about Crash's movement feeling "floaty" and sliding off of things, but I never personally had those problems.

The second to last level seems to have some locked off stuff that is only available after getting all gems. So that's something of a carrot.

Crash 3 is the only game where I've cared so much about time trial stuff. Getting the time trial relics unlock new levels.

I can't remember which, but one of them is straight bull shit for platinum relics. Btw TC there is an obscure but that can lock your file out of 105%. I think it's already too late for you once you beat Cortex though.

Eh, only if you're including stormy ascent and all gold+ relics. Otherwise competing crash 1 is super easy now that the no death requirement is an issue. Of course there's those bull shit levels that make you go backwards... but those are more annoying than difficult.

Btw TC, if you're going for gold relics, know that times in crash 1 are pretty generous, especially on long stages. They're usually more about getting to the end without dying or fucking up big time while not being super slow. So you don't need to rush that much, even on stormy ascent. Platinum though....

I got platinum relics on every level in the trilogy. Those ones were tough, but nowhere near levels like Generator Room or The Lab.

Just hit 102%. All gems in every level, including Stormy Ascent or whatever it was called.

What else is there to do besides the time trials? Did I finish it completely? Also what were those keys for lmao I don't think I saw them actually be used

The level I absolutely hate is the one with the turtle RNG. It was easier for me to rely on walking the rope bridge in the end.

I think it's from getting at least gold relics on each level. Pretty sure it is 105%.

103% from all level completion+gems including stormy ascent. However, if you don't get the gem for stormy ascent and one of the hog levels before fighting Cortex, your file will be glitched to 102% because one of the gems doesn't raise your percentage.

There are two remaining points: one you get for all sapphire and one you get for all gold.

Edit: There's a work around on PC for this, but if you're on console your file is SOL.

Yeah it doesn't matter, especially since the other counters will be accurate. But it is something I make sure to avoid when I replay the game lol. Usually by starting with Stormy Ascent.

After you beat the other games, I'd really recommend going back for the relics. It's really fun imo.

Just remember to manually save the game. I got like 10 levels in and turned it off to see it didn't save.
