2.4 meters? That's like nearly 8 feet long, I don't even think they make them that large.

$50 will get you a decent quality telescoping carbon fiber rod that will perform much better while still being compact

What are you trying to catch? I wouldn't go anything over 2.1 honestly, that's plenty of rod to fish with if you are just doing some smaller lake or river fishing. That will give you a long enough cast out also.

Looking at the picture also it doesn't look like it comes with a reel, which you would need to buy separately if that's the case.

Can you find the first pole with a reel that comes with it? This one you posted above kinda looks like junk, I don't trust aluminum durability. The first one looked a bit more quality for a budget kind of pole.

lotta variety.

Rainbow trout, brown and brook trout, perch, bass, steelhead, coho and kokanee salmon, carp, sturgeon, sun fish, weird small black cat fish of some kind, lingcod, whitefish and probly a bunch i dont know.

I havent caught all of those but ive caught fish i have no idea what the name of is.

That's amazing, i'd have a lot of fun trying to get steelhead and salmon especially. Me and the wife are in ongoing discussion and consideration about moving to North or NE Maine. Like we are really close to making a decision and might go next year. I want to be very close to water, and rekindle my fishing love. It's exciting to look into all the varieties that can be caught up there.

I have known people who noodled, but I won't do it. There's alligator snapping turtles in those same waters, and shoving my hand into an unknown hole underwater that I can't see could result in a bite and a broken hand, lol.

Around here it's just smallmouth bass, white bass, carp, a few varieties of catfish, and skipjacks. That's what i've caught and know off hand, i'm sure i'm forgetting a couple.

Yeah. It looks sorta fun but i like having a hand. Id think it was cool as hell to see a snapping turtle though. We basically just have painted turtles.

Also i remember a conversation i had with my dad and he mocked me for saying lingcod. Lol. I guess those are ocean fish. We have barbuts (i dunno how its spelt) which are fresh water lingcod basically.
