To be fair to the police officers, they are trained to think everyone is out to get them and are therefore hot headed and have itchy trigger fingers. Training needs to emphasize we are not enemies.

Also, that woman needs more training if she is fearing for her life with this guy. This guy was annoyed but not threatening at all.

I just saw a claim in a local story's comment section saying she was actually promoted some time between the video getting posted originally and February 2020. I haven't been able to confirm it, but at this point it would be the least surprising thing about the story.
