lol i remembered when this went viral it was accused of being misogynist, but was it really? Like why are those traits considered to be negative thing?

It seems like basic stuff that really women should probably want in their man too.

idk that's basic as fuck. it's good to show affection and be feminine, but I don't think those are hard rules. your character and personality and style matter so much more than all those things imo

dont see why having or wanting those traits are seen as a negative or misogynistic. why would it be a bad thing to know how to cook good food and to be debt free? lol

if you had two exact same people and one had one of those traits and the other didnt, you would choose the one with that trait

Because it's not like he was forthright with 'learn how to cook amazing dishes'; it's not anyones responsibility 'cept his own to meet that standard and it's purposely worded and calculated to illicit a response lol

If you don't even care about what yer typing why should someone else make the effort to not view something as this or that?

It is fine to want that on an individual level and even also fine to pursue just that and only that (no matter what the people around you think of you as a result).

But implying everyone has to or should comply to your own preferences is where the line gets crossed. So, basically you do you, but don't force us to do you.

This. Wanting these things in a woman is not misogynistic, but telling everybody they must comply or else they "don't know how to keep a man" is, or at the very least it's stupid.

There's no mention of fidelity on this list, which your average dude cares very much about. Also I highly doubt the dude posting can boast he does all this list; he expects the woman to do most of his cooking and cleaning.

My list:

- don't be an undue burden (money, cooking/cleaning, time leech)
- kind
- be sufficiently attractive+social, and sexually compatible
