I dont think its confirmed because for 99.999% of people it never occurred to them that it wouldnt be.

Still is free. Gold was the version they made into a subscription. They just made it so you needed gold for multiplayer and whatnot.

PS+ in PS3 era gave you cloud saves and the 2 free games a month. PS4 era they integrated the online multiplayer into PS+.

^ this. Also having a completely different sub for PS5 would probably create a lot of backlash considering there's people with several years stacked.

uh it was at least like 5-6 on average per month with some up to 10 iirc.

since then they moved online play behind the paywall and consistently decreased the amount of games given while upping the price.

sony should have stayed in last place but then again maybe we wouldn't have gotten gamepass if that were the case.

At one point there was something close to that. They called it the instant game collection. It basically gave you like 15 games right away, and then 2 or 3 of them got cycled out every month.

I let my subscription lapse once and was able to download my past games I was an active member for so atleast you have that after I resubbed. I figured they would all be gone.

I haven't had it for about 8 months, so there are a few that would've been dope to play that I missed out on. I still have all the past ones saved on my profile though.
