In my area a driver was killed by a falling overhead freeway sign. A dump truck in front of him had it's bed up and clobbered the sign. Ironically the deceased worked as a funeral director.

Years ago I worked with a guy who drove dump trucks.
Told me one time how he didn't put the bed down and ripped one of those over the road walkways to a school in half. He thought he had killed a dozen or so people.
