Yes but he's said that dozens of times and they keep asking anyway. He's fallen into the trap of overcomplicating his answer and playing into their game of giving the media some material to spin. He should just keep it succinct every time. They keep asking because they want him to mess up. No reason someone should be asked that question dozens of times other than trying to have a gotcha moment

it was odd for me as well that someone here said about a week ago that my parents would have been fortunate was i not born and didn't get a warning, calling users here racists and white supremacists also doesn't warrant a warning although it's obviously worse being called those things than your typical slurs which they do warn for nowdays

well, right wingers being treated unequally in social media plays a big rule in the right winning elections because it motivates voters so it helps us politically and it's definitely a factor in the conservative base getting bigger in the last few years which correlates with social media use

2. Support of individual actors is unavoidable. You can find examples of any kind of person supporting any kind of candidate if you look hard enough. What we are talking about here is an indicator of a larger trend, i.e. widespread support across multiple organizations.

Disavowing means jack if he simultaneously claims right-wing violence and hatred isn't an issue, and then riles people up by immediately changing the topic to 'left-wing violence is the real issue,' while rattling off dog whistles every week. He has condemned racial violence of any kind weather coming from left or right. The recent violence and unrest in the streets has been largely perpetuated by the 'left'

A politician cannot realistically come out and publicly say they are supportive of or sympathetic to views like race supremacy. No shit. I'm not even going to argue that Trump is himself a white supremacist or that he is supportive of those views. I am saying that he will gladly pander to that group and accept their votes if it means him being elected. The consequence of that pandering is to increase the prevalence and extent of hateful rhetoric, because it is seen as validated by a higher authority. And that should be seen as a problem.

Trump's actions have resulted in groups like the Proud Boys, KKK, Fraternal Order of Alt Knights, and 3%ers to rally behind him. This is a factual observation and cannot be argued. Further, both Homeland Security and the FBI have been studying and been concerned by the rise of domestic terrorism and violence caused by such groups. Given these observations, Trump is either 1) unaware that his actions are having such results, and accidentally appealing to these groups, in which case he's a pretty shitty president because numerous sources are telling him what is going on, or 2) aware that his actions are having such effects, but he's complicit/encouraging it while diverting attention elsewhere. These alternatives are both problematic.
