Everytime there's a black stain on his record, like his defense of racist groups or connections to criminals or horrible actions from his past, his go to defense is "I don't even know who they are/what that is/what happened/we never met"
And I've never quite understood that. Sure if you're some random slob working a dead end tech support job then that might be a valid defense But if you're the president of the united states of America, it's pretty alarming if you "Don't know" about key events from your pasts, your own team who you hired, political/social groups that are coming up all the time in the current political climate or your own associates. If you really "don't know" then you're a clueless idiot and incompetent for your role. Imagine if the CEO of Disney claimed he didn't know what cinema was. Then look at all the times Trump is asked about something that he doesnt actually know the answer to. He bullshits his way through it as if he does because his ego demands it.

Its strange that everyone talks about how Biden is apparently in cognitive decline, but its totally fine that Trump seems to forget everything he's ever told and think the topic was never introduced to him.
