I think the main danger is from running out of time at the end. The game hits a point where the timer speeds up dramatically, so you just need to be banking time in the early rounds. Also, certain enemies can be a pain in ass, if they get sent to you in bunches. Like Lakitu.

You also start to end up with people throwing Bowsers back and forth all over the place which can leave you trapped if you don't have a fire flower or items.

It can depend on the Bowser placement as well. Having him appear on 1-3 can be a pain in the ass. I had him appear in the edge right where Mario is about to jump below, and I didnt have a fire flower. Thats guaranteed damage.

SMW would be great. My biggest issue with Mario 35 is that SMB doesn't have a large enemy variety so you're constantly getting the same enemies.

I played 3 games and won on the last one. If you are methodical and not super slow nor super quick, focus on getting the fire flowers, and get mad lucky with RNG picking easy as shit stages, it's pretty easy to get a win. Me and the final guy took forever to beat each other, but he eventually failed. I still had 300+ seconds by the time it was really cranking down, and it was still super easy to keep it above 300. Not sure what happened to the other guy, whether he ran out of time or died. They really need to pick harder stages as the round goes on so I don't get 1-1 and 1-2 like back to back to back. It's just piss easy for that

Just got my 2nd win and it was epic! The match went on for 18 minutes. I'm level 26 and beat level 60s and 70s guys to earn it.

I get 1-1 or 1-2 over half the time. If I could just have some more variety to the levels, it would spice it up.

I extremely rarely see Hammer Bros, have only seen 1 Lakitu, and Im yet to see a Buzzy Beetle.

I'm not really sure how the end game is supposed to work. I won a round with over 300 seconds left. Unlike Tetris 99, it seems like being attacked in this game is actually beneficial because it gives you more time every time you kill an enemy.

Yeah, that kinda puts me off. They should make it so that only the original enemies give you time, and the transported ones don't. Then it would be good to attack people. Right now it's like giving them a gift. Here, have more time on your clock.

The goal is to build up to 400 seconds and keep it until the timer turn red and starts getting super fast, then hope you get levels where you can do lots of shell combos.

Yes, and if you get caught without fire or coins for roulette you can get screwed by enemy spam. I'm talking bloopers, Bowsers, hammer bros, and everything else all over the screen.

I would really like to play a legend of zelda link to the past version of this somehow. Just make a big-ass dungeon, make you get a default of 3 hearts, and the same thing goes where when other players defeat enemies, it gets thrown in your world....a entire screen full of random octorocks or whatever the hell. Even a classic megaman version could be pretty fun.

This battle royal for older games concept does have mad potential.

Abuse warp pipes to keep doing easy levels. Above all else slow and steady wins the race, don't rush. The goal is to build and maintain 400 seconds before the timer turns red and you have plenty of time to do it.

Yeah but getting KO's always felt a bit RNG to me unless I get a bunch of 1-4 warp pipes. I don't think it counts as your KO if they fall down a hole or get killed by a normal map enemy.

Whenever I win, I typically earn 1,200 - 1,500 coins. I had one win recently where I got 2,200 though, and Im still not 100% sure what exactly determines the number of coins you earn in a win...

Im not clear on it either. It looks like peoples coin totals go into the pot/chest for the winner when they die. But i dont think thats the whole story.
My highest so far is 2,8xx.

Im getting 1st about half the time now so wins arent that exciting anymore.. I mostly just hope people last long enough for me to turn up a new level; even if I end up losing

The game would be a lot more fun if the later levels would just become available already. As it is, I have unlocked up through 3-4, but I still mostly just play 1-1 & 1-2 like 75% of the time.

I also am starting to think this could benefit from having players matched by a ranking of some type. or at least the option to join that kind of battle.

Just ran into my first Lakitu spam, was not fun. There was 6 of those shits on the screen at once.

Just had my second one and won as well. We actually got past Lakitu spam and it became hammer bros spam and I prevailed.

Fixed an issue where, under certain conditions, enemies would appear continuously even though the screen wasnt scrolling
Fixed an issue where certain player icons would not display properly on the coin ranking screen.
Other adjustments and corrections were made to improve the game play experience.
