You see these guys like unicorn riot where the cops basically ignore them, and if the cops start to get close they just say "PRESS WE'RE PRESS" and they back off

What exactly do you need? Like is all you need a microphone and a camera? What if you just have a cell phone? Can you walk up with a phone filming and say you're press?
