It can be food, events, a landmark, anything.

For me, I live in the Smoky mountains of Tennessee, at a high elevation.

I have never tried rock climbing, or ziplining, which are widely popular and an attraction for tourists. I have a bad fear of heights, and have not, and will not do either.

I have also never officially gone hunting, I couldn't bring myself to kill an animal for sport, only necessity.

I have not gone "noodling" which is the practice of going into a river, and putting your hand into an underwater hole, hoping a catfish bites it, and pull it out. We also have large snapping turtles, I won't want to lose fingers or a hand. I do fish a lot, but with a traditional rod and reel.

Slow country boils here are very common, but I have never eaten a crawfish before. I'd love to, but I never had the opportunity. I also have not eaten chitlins, which is a staple in the South, especially in Tennessee, and it's essentially pig intestine. Many eat it on New Years Day with greens for good luck.

I live close to Nashville, but I have never been to the Grand Ole Opry.

It's on my bucket list tbh, always wanted to give it a go. I've fished lakes, rivers, been deep sea fishing, and crabbing. Ice fishing is one I haven't tried.

The texture can be off putting but I enjoy clams for sure. They are close to mussels and scallops in flavor.

If you like salmon, try steelhead trout out also, they are similar, but the trout at times can be less pricey. If you get into shellfish, snow crab/king crab is fantastic, I like it over lobster. I eat more seafood than other meat.

I've never been to the Country HOF either, not much of a fan of the music. I've been to both JD and Dickel distilleries though. I saw Steely Dan and the Ryman in 2014 I think it was. Also the Foo Fighters, but that might have been 2015.

I been one time, waited in line for over an hour and it was pretty great, but not great enough to wait that long again. There's a couple other places that do the hot chicken just as well and you don't wait 90 minutes to even sit down.

Yeah Bolton's and Red's 615 are both excellent imo. There's a bar called Scoreboard that is pretty good also, if you wanna go get hammered and have some good food. I went there after a Predators afternoon game half drunk after spending way too much of stadium beer and it capped off the afternoon nice before I got to the hotel.

I think I mostly have everything covered? I googled "what is <city> known for" and got a list of top 10 things to do while you're there, of which the only ones I haven't done are going on a tour of some government buildings (I've seen them from the outside many many times though) and going barhopping at this specific set of bars downtown (I don't drink, so...)

it kinda helps that most of the notable things here are concentrated in a pretty small area downtown and I'm within walking distance of that so I've had plenty of opportunities
