I've played some of it, the combat us a little weird but its fun

I'm in this boat also. I don't know if I have the energy for another AC game but the mythology looks fun.

Pros:

Better combat than Origins.
Tons of unique side missions.

Cons:

Too much content resulting in the game being one oversaturated ass grind.
Story has no focus.
AC connection is tenuous at best. Also the writing for the modern day stuff is absolute hooey especially in one of the DLC

You know what killed AC for me? When you realized it was all virtual reality bs. The gameplay was fun though.

Just play to the story end, that's what I did. It was like +60 hours just for that.

Yeah, Id focus mainly on the story. If you try to do everything youll easily get burnt out. Theres just too much.

I liked it. It also came out right after my honeymoon to Greece tho so I really enjoyed revisiting the sites I had just seen. They did a pretty good job recreating everything.

It's a great, grindy fantasy RPG. It is NOT a proper AC. I have 2 saves with 200+ hours each.
