And I get it. Users normally freak out when they see something different from the norm appear on their computer. Usually what they'll have to do is submit a ticket to the help desk and one of my help desk guys will assist. But this user goes into panic mode anytime he see's an error or whatever. He calls me and acts like the world is about to meltdown or some shit. He demands I remote in immediately and fix whatever jargon error comes up.

I don't mind any of this really except for one thing; when I fix his trivial issue and even bluntly told him it was no biggie, he still acts as if his meltdown was completely justified. I just fixed another one of his "big issue" and again bluntly told him to stop acting like the sky is falling down for something so fucking minor. He's pissed off at me but oh well. The dude needs to be told time and time again he's making a huge deal out of bullshit. /work rant

All Internal. This user is a pretty old person and he's been with the company for like 30 years, and he still freaks out at any sight of changes. Next time I'm gonna tell him to retire if these small things puts him into panic mode.

LOL most of the time when a user freaks out over something dumb they usually feel bad about it. They usually say "OMG that's all you did to fix the problem? God now I feel silly" but not this guy. This guy somehow feels empowered to know he was bitching over something dumb. I guess modesty and humility isn't something everyone can learn.
