well, given that its already seen as normal where you are. where i am, folks mostly listen to science and wear masks. i still see some trumpo wumpo from time to time walking around with no mask but its like 1 in 100 instead of the opposite.

in south korea, people wear masks if they're sick, they got bad allergies, or they just want to because they look ugly that day

and its great.

sometimes i just wanna hide my face from people so i dont gotta talk to them. right now i wear sunglasses, but with a mask i get the added benefit of
1) protecting myself from disease
2) not smelling any smelly smells so easily now
3) my face stays nice and warm

its great!

I don't really like this attitude. If you're so uncomfortable going out in public I think you might have issues.

If everyone walked around anonymously shit just gets worse. Like the internet. You can't see peoples emotions as well and we'll begin to lack empathy. It's already happening.

There was plenty of science, that the CDC cited early on BEFORE COVID, that shows mask wearing doesn't necessarily prevent people from getting sick and was equated to using a "chain link fence to stop mosquitos" and most transfer of illness happens when people spend significant time together. Then a study came out in like May saying "water droplets" are the main reason to wear masks...with no mention of a virus other than a virus can be carried on spit in the air. But a virus can also be carried on air itself, so I don't understand why this is the study everyone keeps linking me to. Most people breathe out of their nose anyway so0o0o that droplet thing doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I felt so stupid yesterday in a grocery store at 3am when I'm in line with a guy, both of us wearing masks...he uses the card reader, coughs, gets cash back....then I walk up and use the same register and stand there in the air he was just breathing...i'm like, wtf did the mask do for me here?

I can see it in enclosed spaces but even then you're already enclosed so idk. My heart tells me this is more about a fear and control thing because if Walmart really cared about you they would open up more registers but NOPE just the 4 self servs and a line of sixty people not distancing thanks Walmart requiring that mask tho APPRECIATE IT

if wearing a mask helps prevent spread better than not wearing a mask even if it doesn't stop you getting sick or infecting others 100% of the time you should still wear it

Masks are required on my job site. It's a relief, I have less worry about my guys, and myself. No politics, just required simple as that.

At this point, people are becoming more accepting of the idea that anti-maskers are full blown terrorists! (Which of course, they are.)

Nah i don't, i will wear a mask til this virus is under control but that's it.
