I wish I had the money, that price is the processor and gpu combined. Everything else is free basically.

I confirmed with customer support:

The RAM is GSkill Trident Z RBG 3600
The SSD is Gammix Gen 3 (intel's ass-backwards lack of PCI 4.0 ffs)

I'm surprisingly not that tempted. Probably because a 3090 is super overkill for gaming. I probably would've caved for a rig with a 3080 in it for ~1500 or 1600

Just gonna wait for a 3080 Super or Ti next year and settle for that

So it's basically $249 for the 1 TB nvme ssd, case, 360mm AIO cooler, 32 GB DDR4 3600 MHz RAM, Z490 mobo

In other words, it's like $300 cheaper than its base components.

3090 is overkill for most people though. You could still get a cheaper PC if you went for a 3080.

Plus, SkyTech is a reputable brand. They usually sell their stuff on Amazon, Newegg and Best Buy, though. This website listing absolutely has to be a list error (my guess is the 10900 non-K was supposed to be paired with an RTX 3080)

But if they send you the wrong product you obviously can get a full refund.

Well, according to PassMark (lol) they have the same overall performance, with the Intel yielding about 10% better game performance.

I think the 10900K is slightly better, but not by a huge margin.

There's lots and lots and lots of Ryzen CPUs with better multicore performance, but not necessarily better game performance.

so it's a $1600 gpu, a $400 cpu (that's outperformed by a $300 9700k), a $150 ram, $200 hard drive, w/e the power supply/case is. You're saving maybe $150-200 to spend $600 to fix your bottle neck.

It's fine, although Ryzen has been consistently behind Intel in gaming performance until the Ryzen 5000 series comes out next month.

yes, top end intels out perform amd. Amd is usually the better budget (may change with their new gen since they bumped up prices). But this is you what spending $2200 to get a $1600 gpu you don't need to try to scrap the rest of the parts? what's the plan here?

3090s only purpose is to flex your wallet. It's not like the 2080TIs where it was your only real option for either 4k low fps or 1440 high fps. You can do 4k 60fps with 3080s and get better fps with DLSS 2.0.
