Don't get me wrong, I hope Biden wins, even getting paid to work as a field organizer this year with a progressive organization. But all we are doing is slowing the bleeding down.

The world is going to end in most of our lifetimes and there isn't much we can do about it. Even if you REALLY want to fight it like go hardcore in protests and such, it won't amount to much. It might make the lives of law enforcement slightly inconvenient in the short term, but you will just spend the rest of your life on a "list" making the rest of your life a lot shittier in the long run.

We can't do anything to prevent societal collapse, and honestly does it even matter? Why is humanity so special? We are tiny lifeforms on a small rock in this huge universe we will never get to explore, even if we DID save the world the sun will eventually explode and no one will remember us or care about what we did.

There is no hope for the world, if you happen to have a good life, try to enjoy it. Right now I am sipping a beer on my lunch break, and I actually do like my job most of the time and it pays a living wage. I'll still be in Flagstaff, AZ for the next few weeks which is a great town. Things are okay, just accept your fate and try to enjoy every sandwhich.
