Where I live is super red. Trump flags all over town. One of the local bars has a flyer for joining a militia. That's probably what inspired the dream.

Anyway, a bunch of people dressed like Paul Revere were marching through the streets playing drums. I held contempt for them and the racism they stood for since, in the context of the dream, they were an alt right militia group intent upon voter intimidation and masking racism behind patriotism.

...but there was free food involved.

I went into a shop which had free food meant to celebrate the parade and had some cookies. One of which was shaped like Mario. Yes, the Nintendo icon.

If this were real life, I'd like to think I'd turn down free food if it was meant to celebrate extreme right wing ideology. But I'm not making any promises. <_<
