I'm a huge AC fan, but frankly, I'll never buy another Ubisoft game ever again after what has come to light about the culture at ubi, not to mention their relentless micro transaction "time savers". Odyssey was straight up mmo-ified, and became a tedious, near endless grind after a while, to the point where I couldn't even finish the Atlantis dlc because of how bored I'd gotten. From what we've seen of Valhalla, it looks to be more of that.

Ubisoft has honestly become the worst major publisher imo, even moreso than ea. The shameful goings on at the company itself, the relentless monetization of single player games, the homogenized nature of all their games being the same game in a sense. I'm just done with them. And I say this as a huge fan of AC.

Plus, I saw the spoilers of what happened in the Atlantis dlc in Odyssey, and i loathe the direction they're taking the present day shit. Origins actually brought up some cool potential for it, and Odyssey fucked it.

Origins is fantastic for the most part, and bayek is a great character, if not the best in the series. People just loved ezio because of him getting three games and a cgi movie, showing his entire life from literally birth to death.

Wait im confused. Is there going to be a legit next gen version of this game on next gen console release day? Thats what I've been expecting but then ibwas reading its just the normal current gen only but you can play it on next gen consols.

Nope there's next-gen versions. There's a physical PS5-only release.

I got through the first mission with Yuna and was like "I can't go through this all again". Especially because it unlocks another upgrade level for everything but doesn't carry over any of your supplies/resources and makes you defog the map again.
