Yes, it was introduced in Gen 7 actually
This is a special ability called Power Construct, when below 50% HP or something like that he gains massive stats (708 base stat, which is just 12 below Arceus)

I have every Hidden Ability Pokemon

And now I finally have the chance to get the missing ones - Heatran, the 4 Tapus and the 4 Gen 8 Fossils (and the 3 Galarian Legendary Birds if they have those HA, I don't know yet)
The problem? it would take me 9 Ability Patch (or 12 with the birds)
This is 1600 Dynite (or 2200 with the birds) because one is a gift

This is...a lot. Fucking a lot. This is about 200 DA runs
I will die

Against Zygarde I brought in Abomasnow, Dynamax'd on Turn 1 and rained Ice on it. Zygarde got 4 KOs on my healthy human allies before I could finish the job. We lost.

But my worst loss was against a Kyogre. Turn 1 it used Surf for 3 KOs, including me, and hit my last ally for like 95%. On turn 2, we cheered the ally back to full HP then Kyogre single target Surf for the straight up OHKO.

The Gen 8 fossils are available in raids with their HA
So I only need 5 Ability Patches, which I got

Can be done with Crown Tundra by tomorrow and done with Pokemon mainline games for the next year, yay

The Meltan/Melmetal promotion will be what gets me to finally download Go. I'm mostly wondering if there's any risk of not being able to catch the gift Meltan if you're a brand new player. Like if you need a bunch of better quality balls to make sure you get it before it flees or whatever.

I still hate that Meltan/Melmetal remains locked to Pokemon Go. Not everyone is going to be interested in playing Pokemon Go, so they would be locked out of getting them unless they trade with someone who has one or they have to resort to hacking to get one into their game.

Weeks later you might have found out this yourself, but shouldn't be, you'll just not be able to get it at higher levels.

Oh hey this topic is still alive. I finally got around to downloading Go, and yeah it was easy. No hassle at all to transfer a Pokemon to claim the Melmetal or to catch the Meltan with the mystery box (and transfer that too).

I also bought the DLC, and so now I can finally get all the remaining US/UM exclusives.
