You're playing your favorite video game one day when you see your brother or cousin or something preparing great big hefty boxes of something.

You ask him what he is doing and he says "Oh I'm just donating everything red that I own to Goodwill."

"Why are you doing that?" You ask

And he says "Well it just hit me you know that everyone in our family who has passed away was wearing red when they kicked it, so I figured, why take the chance eh? No red - no dead!"

"Oh Tish, pshawnonsense." you reply "That's absurd and anyway there's no way that's the case."

But then you look into it and discover it's true. From yesterday to your ancient ancestors. If there is any kind of record that in anyway demonstrates what they were wearing, photos/obituary/medical reports etc every single member of your family line who has ever died is purported to have been wearing at least 1 item of red clothing at the time.



How do you react?
Would it affect what you wear?

I've seen enough media to know that actively trying to avoid such a fate often causes you to put yourself in the position to make it come true.

I would find it much more likely that my family just likes the color red so much that they wear it every chance they get (or at least when they're participating in risky behavior). *shrug*

Even if you don't wear the red, a gunshot wound would cause what you're wearing to turn red anyways. So no, it wouldn't.
