I don't know how long it takes cavities to form tbh so maybe it was just a small undetectable one and then six months later had become more noticeable

I used to brush like every other day because I'd be rushed in the mornings and exhausted at night and would just forget to do it. Went to the dentist, had two cavities, got them filled. That's when I started doing it twice daily and then at my next check up had a third cavity.

That was like two years ago though, haven't had any since.

I've only had two cavities in my life. Haven't been to a dentist in 20 years though so at this point, my mouth might just be one hole cavity.

I have cavities in high school when I played football. First time I had cavities in my life. I brushed my teeth EVERY day in high school. That was actually the first time I was adamant about keeping my teeth brushed. In middle school, I would go days without brushing and never had a cavity. But when the dentist found cavities, she said my teeth looked clean and that she could tell I do a great job brushing my teeth since there was hardly any plaque. She asked me if I played sports and I told her I did. She said what probably got me is drinking sports drinks since they are really sugary. I had literally drank a whole bottle of powerade like 30 minutes or an hour before that visit since I had just got done with football practice and was drinking powerades all the time. She suggested rinsing my mouth after drinking sugary drinks.

I don't brush, but I don't have any cavities.

I brush daily and get cavities. A bit issue though is that I chewed almost all my food on the right side of my mouth for much of my life. My right jaw muscle is much tighter because of this, and recently I've been massaging it.

Also, they always said "lesion" at my last dentist. Like "that lesion is getting a little big, so we should fill that in."

I discovered a few years back that I cant tolerate mainstream toothpaste. I get canker sores from them and just general irritation from the SLS in most toothpaste. I always struggled with cavities too. I switched to a toothpaste without SLS and suddenly no canker sores and no cavities. Though Ive had to have some crowns put in due to my fillings being so old and needing replacing and they did a shit job back in the day.
