Im glad ~~Palom and Porom~~ were revived but it being something that happens off-screen instead of being tied to some kind of quest is really stupid. Beat the Giant of Babil CPU and fought the 5 bosses in the Cave of Ordeals for the ultimate weapons of the non-final party members. All thats left to do is go back to the moon and take on the final dungeon Im pretty sure. In terms of how much I like each party member, in a mix of gameplay+story+character: Rydia Palom Yang Cecil Porom Rosa Edge Tellah Edward Kain Cid Fusoya I honestly think this is my new favourite, I like it more than FFI, II, V, and VII, which are the ones Ive played. Elder couldn't do it to begin with because ~~they cast on themselves, but all of a sudden he can do it no problem?~~ exactly. I was expecting to find some crazy Lunar Golden Needle on the moon or something. The fact that it was just handwaved instead kind of removes the emotional weight.
