I just work a basic factory job, nothing special about it. I think I look good when in a dressier outfit though, so I usually put myself together really nicely. Kind of feel weird for doing it, though. Idk. Everyone there is dressed super casually. When I go into work, Im in a freezer, so it doesnt matter much anyway. Covered in freezer gear. I just do it for myself.

What do you think, CE?

But really, I think it's fine within a limit. My job is basically either t-shirts or polos, but you don't look weird if you wear a nice button up every now and then. A tie would be overkill though...

To answer the question; yes, absolutely.

The scenario you described sounds like your clothes are covered anyways so not a big deal.

In other cases of manual labor I would say try to be careful making it appear as if you're not ready to work or get dirty or that you're better than anyone else that's working there.

I'd you're within the dress code you should dress in a way that makes you feel better.

I have to wear scrubs every fucking day.
