As a communist nation they don't have to worry about how they are going to make their people pay for clean energy.

As a capitalist nation, the US lets companies pollute the environment without paying for it and let the peasants deal with the true cost.

I'm willing to bet money that only a dozen or so of those panels actually function.

Because...?

I could see it being fake, since the cost to set that up would be staggering. Not something most governments would ever want to spend.

So they spend millions to set up fake solar panels on middle of nowhere mountains... to own the West?

Too make them selves look good instead of spending billions? Sure why not.

I can't help see this and ask "Is this truly a green energy answer? To cover our nature up with huge amounts of panels to harness solar energy?"

China pours tons of money into infrastructure projects (domestically and abroad) and are well-known for this. This is their bread and butter for providing jobs to their citizens. The US does the same but for their military.

When people realize we've been sleeping on zero point energy for decades, energy infrastructure will crumble into nothing.

If it reduces carbon emissions, using a relatively small plot of land for solar panels isn't the destruction of nature that you guys are making it out to be lmao we've been doing this shit in our deserts here for years and no one says shit because they aren't green.

Yeah, much better to continue pumping/digging out old carbon from the earth and burning it.

Wouldn't a large amount of solar panels actually raise the temperature because they attract more heat?

I'm pretty sure there is a medium here. Too much solar could be a detriment to the environment, no?

The sun's rays are hitting the earth's surface regardless. The panels themselves aren't generating more heat.
