How do you cite a Snapple bottle cap?

I dont know if its in vogue these days, but back in the day, trivia writers would often add fake info so they could find out if other trivia writers were plagiarizing them.

not to mention, fact checking for trivia isnt very rigorous. An old pirate documentary once got fooled by an old Snopes prank, and during a commercial bumper, told a bunch of viewers that a childrens lullaby was a secret pirate code. >_>
