Not that really. I meant I've only played older classics like Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, and Super Mario RPG.
I really love action games with RPG elements like post SOTN Castlevania.

Eh....I'd say they are on different ends of that genre. Super Metroid doesn't have any RPG elements so they only have the exploration of the map and key items/weapons/abilities to get to different parts in common. Of course as I say that, I remember that's the main points of that genre so...

Also SM is a shooters that plays at a faster pace. SotN plays at a lower pace and it's a hack and slash.

Agreed. While I can acknowledge Super Metroid and it's feats, it doesn't hold a candle to SotN.
