I'm sure it'll be paired down significantly. Because I don't agree; the absolute ton of downtime, load times, cutscenes, base management, stats upgrading and busywork on the world map is anything but a session-on-the-bus game.

Obviously you dont play an entire game in a session. You didnt do that on PC either. The game is split up into enough bite size chunks and you can even stop playing mid battle if you want.

I don't understand why in 2 you have to make guys psychic from the start, when in 1 you could test your best guys to see. But I guess the skill tree in 2 makes more sense that way.

Psychic soldiers on xcom 2 are an entirely different class, and in xcom 1 its just extra abilities for your existing soldiers. I can see why theres different approaches considering that they are very different between games

Yeah, even as far back as the iphone 7 or iphone 6 i think.

It will be a port obviously so not as good looking as the PC version. Although maybe it is on say the latest ipad pros
