Rarely, if ever, include a transgender. I'm saying this because the multiple videos I've seen discussing the topic, usually have a "medical expert" who is here to tell us that Gender isn't a construct. Or these political commentators who resort to "stats" as to why, there's no such thing as a trans man or trans woman.

I don't know, it's odd, because if you want to discuss a specific topic, wouldn't it'd be beneficial to have an individual of relevancy?

This isn't "do you prefer tacos or pizza", human rights aren't fucking up for debate unless the person trying to debate them is a bigot.

"Trans people shouldn't be allowed access to public facilities such as bathrooms" isn't a fucking opinion. "Trans people aren't who they say they are" isn't either, for that matter. I don't give a fuck what a bigot thinks, there's no point in talking with someone who has zero interest in listening.

How would you feel if someone started following you around, calling you whatever racial slurs are applicable (if any), and demeaning your entire gender nonstop? At some point you'd get pissed.

Im saying that those that oppose some pro trans things are immediately anti trans. I am not anti trans. However I do have issues with someone with a penis using the same restroom as my daughter. That's probably more on the ignorant side but it is a viewpoint that a lot of parents hold.

Rachel wants all men to be forcibly castrated upon reaching the onset of puberty. At minimum, in order to discuss the basic reproductive rights at stake you'll have to at least agree that all men at age 18 should be forced to receive a vasectomy and it can only be reversed should they enter into a gay relationship and get married to that partner for a period of no less than 5 years.

If you don't agree with that then how can you, the victim Rachel wants in this scenario, ever possibly have a meaningful conversation?

I dont think thats a good comparison because I don't think transgenders fit into a normal gender role so why use a restroom for someone who is? I'm all for transgender restrooms or gender fluid/non binary. But you have to see that there are concerns in some scenarios.

You'd freak the hell out if half the people you want to use the bathroom of their birth genitals actually did, because they'd look like cis men and women. Most trans people never rearrange their plumbing.
