it was 5th grade and i was in this computer lab class
we were assigned tasks to learn how to use a computer there was this "game" that involved problem solving...it was extremely basic coding so we had about 10 tasks due at the end of the class i sped through the first 8. there was 20 minutes left of class. the guy next to me got stuck on #6 and asked me for help. i told him i had to finish my work. he literally begged me to help him, so i thought "i have 20 minutes to finish 2 tasks, it'll only take a few minutes to help him and then i can probably still finish the last 2 because it's been such a breeze thus far" so i stopped and took the time to help him where he got stuck and he started breezing through the tasks after i helped him. however....i got stuck on task #9 and asked him to help me when he got there he breezed through it to task #10 with like 3 minutes left. i asked him to help me since he finished #9...and he said "sorry there's no time, it's every man for himself" and then he took the last 3 minutes to finish the 10th and last task and i got stuck at 8 completed --- ... And from 5th grade on, you've been a Republican. That lesson taught you well:
Every man for himself. Pay no taxes for roads or anything for anyone else. You've got yours. --- Ohhh son! ... Copied to Clipboard!
