Last Zelda game from me was a link to the past on SNES. Recently got my hands on Ocarina of time(master quest gamecube version) and Wind Waker.

Which should I play first?

WW is really easy if you want a chill Zelda. OoT is a decent game as well, but it'll probably take more effort to beat.

OoT.

Might as well go in order. They will both be good experiences, and there's no good reason to go out of order if you are going to play both.

TWW is a sequel to OoT, so play OoT first.

Ocarina is a tad more dated imho, so I'd say give Wind Waker a whirl and if you love it play Ocarina after.

Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

OoT first. The controls are a bit clunkier and it could be jarring to go from WW to OoT.

Start with OoT since Wind Waker is probably better overall.

OoT hasnt aged all that well tbh (If you get the WWHD on WiiU it makes the worst parts much better)

I think I might do Ocarina of time first just because it takes place before Wind waker.

Thanks everyone!

Holy shit at people saying otherwise, you absolutely want to play Ocarina of Time first. Wind Waker is one of the few Zelda sequels where the story is heavily related to a previous one. Of course, Nintendo made sure you can play it on it's own and still have a good self contained story, but having the background of OoT makes it 1000x better.

OoT will feel very basic if you start with WW, and there are some neat callbacks to OoT in there, too.

This. WW is full of references to OoT.

I would also play Majora's Mask before WW but it's not as necessary.

Sailient point, for sure, but I've found that in back to back, first time playthroughs, the game play in WW is too drastic a departure to a lot of people I've recommended the series to. Many didn't even finish WW because they thought it was too tedious compared to OoT.
