And then Trump continues to contest it, spending all of his energy and manpower for the next 2 months in a failed attempt to steal the election. Ideally it will be fully unsuccessful, letting the vote counting continue so as to help with the smaller election.
If we're lucky he'll focus so hard on this that he'll neglect his plans to directly sabotage the transition, and be too distracted to pull a Matt Bevin (which he's very prone to do). Hopefully he'll have enough confidence in his evil plan to steal the election that he fails to take precautions designed to protect him from charges he'll face after leaving office. --- My sister's dog bit a hole in my Super Mario Land cartridge.
