^In relation to the 138k Biden votes bs that's been spreading around.

As someone who has been watching this pretty closely from election day, this is absolute bs and a cover story that's a couple days too late. The numbers absolutely did jump overnight. Biden was WAY down when I went to bed at around 1 am EST and I woke up at 8 am for work to see that it was basically tied. Biden got over 100k votes and in the same span trump got next to nothing. Like it was virtually 100% biden

GA within 1300 votes. It's so close. Looking like PA is gonna make it all irrelevant though which is fine by me. In fact, it seems very possible that Biden wins all the remaining states (well except alaska of course) and ends with 321 to 217 EC votes.

Each state already has a system in place for recounts. I've no doubt that if any blue state meets the criteria, Trump will pursue a recount.

Anyone know how many GA ballots there are left to count? By my poor estimation it's like 10k or less. It's really gonna come down to the wire.

I do feel like theres no reason not to recount any close elections a few times in the coming weeks.

There was interference in the 2016 election. The Mueller report conclusively found that Russia had been spreading misinformation for the purposes of influencing the election. It did not conclusively prove that Trump was deliberately involved in those efforts (nor did it conclusively exonerate him, but that doesn't mean he was guilty), and Trump and his flock latched onto that verdict to dismiss the entire report, but there was very definitely interference by foreign powers, predominantly in Trump's favour.

Meanwhile, I don't think anyone's saying that the election can't be rigged. Just that there's no evidence that it has been (on a meaningful, partisan scale). Which is true, because the only basis Trump has for making such claims is the fact that he isn't winning. If you've got evidence beyond "that number looks kind of funny!", by all means, share it, but until such evidence surfaces (and trust me, Trump's got far sleuthier super-sleuths than you on the case, so you can relax and let them handle it), crying about hypothetical fraud and election rigging is stupid and pointless.

Providing misinformation to somebody who's trying to make an informed decision is interference, yes. That's very obviously an effort that can and will influence the outcome and I don't see how you could possibly suggest otherwise.

I expect that he'll tentatively be declared the winner, but this very much won't be over for a while. Even ignoring Trump's desperate tantrums (which is really the only reasonable thing to do), a lot of these margins are extremely close, such that there will almost certainly be recounts in many counties and states once all the mail-in ballots have been processed. Trump may yet pull this off (unless the recounts just widen Biden's lead).

Hypothetically, if they were rigging the election, it does actually stand to reason that they wouldn't want to win absolutely everything by a large margin. That's suspicious, and generally speaking, efforts to cheat want to fly under the radar better than that.

Now, given that Trump would by crying fraud if Biden got even one vote, that rationale does kind of go out the window. Not rigging the election at all was already guaranteed to arouse suspicions, so that paves the way to rigging it more egregiously without having to worry about attracting more attention. But I think a little subtlety is still probably a sensible idea.
