Coworker of mine was all worked up over "Biden is going to impose a 3% property tax!"... took me 5 minutes reading a couple articles to discover that's complete bullshit. Why are Trump supporters so eager to believe all the lies? Straight up ignorant.

Sad part is that if Biden assumes office, unless he does something to prevent it those tax increases are going to start rolling out under his watch, and Trump's dumbass support is going to blame it on Biden because they don't bother to educate themselves on anything.

I was being literal. Literally.

But I also wanted to add: it's not so much that he (or anyone else) raises taxes, but rather what people get in return. If it benefits society as a whole, taxes can be good. There would be no police, armed forces, fire departments, public transports, public education nor public healthcare facilities without taxes. Sure beats taxing people to build palaces and invade foreign countries like monarchs did in the good old days...

Biden is going to raise my taxes? The fucking "tax cuts" a few years ago raised my taxes.
