Because trump has proven time and again to spout dangerous rhetoric which at times has inspired his supporters to take dangerous actions.

Nobody wants violence. Everybody wants Trump to accept the results of the election, concede the race and allow for a smooth transition of power.

no, i'm saying that this 11-18% better feeling isn't gonna happen if you're a dem in most states. it's an important election year for state governments because redistricting occurs in 2021 and the GOP controls 2 full new states legislatively and lost no state houses. on the part that matters - state level politics - GOP scored some major wins.

but people will feel better because they got rid of trump.

I'm glad we have a winner, but I think we can say that even if the results were different, we had two of the best people for the job, and it was a very hard decision to choose between either of them. I think no matter if your candidate won or lost, you can still think very highly of the effort put forth by each of them, and we can congratulate those on the other side for having such a fair and competitive race. :)

not anti trump either, don't hate him and don't love him. he's entertaining but incompetent and had a god awful year. am pro-limit the feds, executive power is way too high so a split congress doesn't bother me that much, even though i know the headache coming in because Mitch is an asshole.
tend to vote democrat - Yang was by far my favorite guy this election and still is, his analysis on CNN was spot on. center left on most issues, got plenty of friends all over the spectrum.
