Deliberately maybe not as much, and maybe also could demonstrate a lack of authority, but if executed efficiently, can be a powerful catalyst in exposing said abuser's lack of qualifications for their position. Any hypocrisies usually reveal themselves when it comes down to it. Let's say someone throws out the statement that they hate alcoholics or try to paint someone as a less than intelligent individual due to their own personal choices and ends up being a complete ass or emotionally unhinged in the way they do it - they end up displaying a great case in their ability of how much they are able to actually maturely deal with things, IMO.
