I have. Except for the protesting police brutality. I knew that that was a long time coming. People didn't choose for it to spill over during a pandemic, the police did. Not even like it's the first time a riot happened over police brutality. That's 100% on them and everyone who supports them doing whatever they want with no reprecussions.

the fact that you find data hard to believe is the crux of this issue

no one is saying not a single case resulted from the protests, but theres literal proof that they werent huge spreaders

no major cities saw the massive spikes everyone expected after the protests. this is because they were outside and lots of people wore masks. compare this to trump rallies and those bike rallies, shown to have spread tons of cases because of the lack of masks, not to mention that the people attending those are much more likely to not be careful in their day-to-day life with the virus than the mostly liberal people at the protests

If fighting covid was this easy shutting the country down in retrospect or a second as many seem to want seems not only a waste, but overly extreme x1000.

The things we did in March were emergency actions taking in a time when no other information was available. We have since learned new methods for limiting spread using actual data.
