I have some but somehow I lost my charger. Don't ask how I pulled that off. It just wasn't plugged in one day. A charger would be a better investment though.

I mean rechargeable batteries are awesome. To a point I don't get why they haven't replaced regular ones entirely.

I got a new battery for my car a couple years ago and gave it to my mom cause I was too stupid to check what kinda terminals it has. >_>

Firstly, on the first point. Mostly old people.
Personally, I am all about rechargeable, and Solor if can do it.

And also, odd, I have never really delt with odd terminals for a car battery.

I've always had ones with the big round top terminals. My sunfire has smaller ones that connect differently and are on the front. Before that I'd never even considered the existence of other car batteries.

I'd give anything to be in a place where I could go totally off the grid and use solar even i I had to have a diesel generator backup for winter i feel like it'd be better environmentally in the end and would just be so satisfying.

Oh God I had a Sunfire for a brief period of my life. ((I shutter to think))
It served its purpose at the time...and I am glad for that. But ya, not the greatest car.
It's condition when it was put out to pasture, was.....Not good. Actually, the city had to tell me to get it the fuck out of my front yard. ~Not even joking.

And ya, Solar is satisfying. Though staying off the grid is one thing in the Summer and totally another in the Winter.

Get a haircut, dress in clothe that fit, don't smell bad and they'll just glance at your receipt or won't even check. Look like a bum or a gang member and it doesn't matter what race you are, LP will target you. That's how you can easily steal stuff from them.

hahaha. I bought an 05 sunfire in 09 and its literally still my car 11 years later. I had the breaks redone and thats it in 11 years. Never put a dime into her besides that and gas.

Its definitely not a nice car by anyones standards but holy shit has it been a champ. Paid 500 for it and it came with a brand new set of winters on rims and decent summer tires on it.

Also lol... somehow I've always avoided being flagged for a derelict car. And I murdered some cars in my day.

I think I had about the same year. It was a mom car, I got it for $800, and Ironically needed a battery, I got it from my supervisor at the time, and because she was cool, she dropped the price, by a bill.

But ya, in the end it was over heating, the doors would not shut properly, the trunk would not open....holy shit. Plus, it was a Pontiac...ffs. I could actually post a pic of it, as it's on google maps.

The last thing I used it for...or the two last things...was to stand on it to clip limbs of a tree, and to use the recycler guys check-cheque to pay for the lawyer I had to go tell the city the car was gone.

~I do like that you specified, in a straight line while talking about that Monte Carlo. That is a huge deal.

A Saab would be cool. I've driven civics SIs and a new mini something or other higher end model and the quickness and cornering was super fun. I'd really like an early 2000s golf r32 or skyline or something like that.

Handling is more fun than pure speed.

Also its a Pontiac hahaha. May not be your thing and its not one of his better songs but Fred eaglesmith is one of the coolest artists I've met. Super awesome guy. I regret to say I never saw him live but my uncle did at a show with a bunch of hells angels back when they could wear colors inside a bar here and apparently Fred ridiculed and antagonized them the whole 2 hour set..

If I could have any performance car it'd seriously be a juke type r.

800 horse and it just looks like a Nissan juke. They were so limited run they probly still cost close to the 600k us they launched at. Imagine roasting a Lamborghini in a Nissan juke.

Realistically and practically I want a mid 70s fj-40 with the 302 swap kit and a small lift.

The last time I drove that car was supposed to be to a dealership looking for a new car.
But first I stopped at a greenhouse nearby.
The freaking thing overheated on the way back....not the first time either.
I fucking parked it in the yard, outside of the driveway, and called a cab to get the dealer.

I was looking for a Volvo, but went with the Saab, and couldn't have been happier.
Honestly, it's done everything I've asked it to. It is great in the mountains for just the reasons you suspect!

Probably a Ferrari 488 GTE.

Hahaha. Fuck that sucks. The old Chevy I mentioned would eat ring gears. I pulled the engine... i can't even say how many times.... to replace the fly wheel and ring gear... and shimmed the starter a hundred ways to Sunday and nothing changed. After a month the starter would just spin and I'd have to crawl under it and take the starter off and move the flywheel with a hooked piece of metal and connect the starter again every time I turned it off. and eventually I'd just have to buy a new flywheel and ring gear and pulle the engine to replace it. fucking hate that stupidly nice looking truck to this day.

You can read that in a way that makes it seem like you're implying it finally happened. It's not that we misread it, it's that we're use to social cues people use all the time. 9 times out of 10, the way you set this up implies that it happened after all that time of it not happening, hence why you would feel profiled. You can pretend we're dumb if you want, but you were just misleading. Maybe not purposely, but still.
