Both took office and died roughly at the same time as one another.
Adolf Hitler was appointed chancellor of Germany on January 30th, 1933. Franklin Roosevelt was inaugurated as president on March 4th of that same year. FDR died of a brain hemorrhage on April 12th, 1945. Adolf Hitler commited suicide a few weeks later on April 30th, 1945. --- If she says we partied, then I'm pretty sure we partied.
