Yeah, pretty much. If you're using a typical controller you have to master alternating between the face buttons and the dpad. Also need to use the triggers for the hold buttons at the higher levels of difficulty. Personally, I prefer playing with an arcade controller as it's way more fun.

Yeah, I loved playing Rhythm Heaven Fever, but getting a Perfect on every level is beyond me, because my rhythm is pretty bad. I just settled with a Superb on them all.
