Given if they are telling me it's probably because I wanted to order I'm going to be a little annoyed. More so if it's something there isn't really a replacement for.
Like if wendy's said we don't have spicey nuggets, are regular okay? Then I'd be disappointed but nugs are nugs. If they said they didn't have any nuggets then I'd be upset and order an extra jbc --- If you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all. The only time I've ever yelled in anger is these dumbasses who apparently needed to stop all hot food production to clean their equipment in the middle of the day. That would have been fine if they put a fucking sign up anywhere, including the damn drivethrough itself, but instead just wait until you've been in line for ten minutes to let you know you basically only have the option to get coffee.

I've had Taco Bell tell me they're out of like 3 different drinks, and then right when I settled on my 4th option and get ready to drive up to the window, they tell me they also don't have ice.

As someone who used to work back in the day at a Wendy's and mainly worked late night/closing, do yourself a favor and go to a 24-7 place and avoid anything that's within an hour or two of closing.
Just know that the main focus if you go to a late night spot is that the night crew wants to clean up and GTFO as soon as the clock hits closing time. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
