The effective difference between 5 billion and 100 billion is negligible. At 5 billion dollars, I would donate most of it to charity, anyway. No one needs that much money.

4 billion is just to buy the team.
you still have to pay for player salaries and other expenses like travel and stay for the team.
then there's expenses like running your development academies.
and finally, you need a shit ton of money to pay for player transfers.

you have to hope that after buying the team, your revenue will be higher than expenses.
