I think even metaphorically it counts as a measurement of time, at least to me. It's like a time limit on the world.

Yes I get that but whether you take them as real minutes or metaphorical minutes they are still measuring time leading to the deadline

also I literally let a song about Reagan make it into the Satan poll so clearly anything and everything is up for interpretation
