I know it's a lame and popular complaint, but a 3rd person option would be so great. I played so much of the flying online mode in Battlefront 2 that I'm struggling to adapt.

I adjusted easier than I expected, but I would prefer it.

For me the issue is I have no clue what the fuck I'm doing in fleet battles and just die when I get near a cap ship. So I moved on, but I'll fire it up again to play the defender.

Compared to battlefront sure, but no.

The first person is because it's a pvp focused game and 3rd person camera would be a massive advantage. But the argument is weak when vr is a massive advantage too

It's self explanatory. Moving your head to track where you want infinitely increases your ability to see versus relying on hitting hotkeys.

It'll be interesting to see how they balance this because the TIE defender I remember pretty much outclasses all the other SW fighters.
