I was in the 2nd grade so I probably just turned 8. I remember reading in a Calvin and Hobbs comic where the parents set up all the xmas gifts and I was like "wait I thought Santa did all this" and then I realized there was no Santa.

Even stayed up late that night and watched my parents put the presents out while they thought I was asleep.

I knew kids up into the 4th grade that still believed lol

Wasn't tell I was like 12. My mom kept it up pretty well.

Not to mention one night I came out looking for santa after I woke up and the cookies had a bite taken out. Went outside saw that the carrots had some nibble Mark's and some of the other reindeer feed was missing, then I heard something slide across the roof and heard jingling. So yeah I believed hardcore.

Every christmas she also had a distant relative call me and pretend to be santa as he asked what I wanted for christmas. Didnt find out tell I saw a christmas present she got for my niece be marked as from santa on christmas day.

I cried because I finally found out the truth and she was sad for me. Yeah my mom was amazing either way, went pretty far to keep the veil over my eyes.

Someone I went to high school with believed in Santa until she was in 7th grade and her mom still had to break the news to her.

As for me Santa was the last domino to fall after the tooth fairy and the Easter Bunny. Though my mom didn't do the concept any favor by buying the same present for me that 'Santa' did the year before. I was 9 when I found out.

I still don't know how I believed that Santa lived at the North Pole considering I had maps that showed no land there.

can't remember exact age. but I know it was no older than 9. cause I remember where I lived at the time and we moved by the time it was christmas and I was 10. probably 8 or 9

I only remember it vaguely but I think I was starting to realize holes in the story and then my mom admitted it. it was kinda weird going to bed that christmas knowing santa wasn't coming. and I think I fell asleep faster than I ever had on christmas eve before.

As far as I remember. My mom is a religious nut and didn't want anything to distract from Jesus.

I stayed up at night to see if Santa was real, when I was 6. I forget what set off my suspicion, but I hid behind the couch and had my little stakeout. My parents must've known, because my dad actually dressed up as Santa and ate the cookies, but it was still clearly my dad.

I don't know exactly, I think I was like 9 or 10? I was randomly looking through my grandpa's World Book encyclopedia and read the article on Santa Claus.

5 years old. Teachers told me about Santa, and I got super hyped for it. Then Christmas came and nothing happened because my parents don't celebrate Christmas. T.T
